I’m Lynise Perry, a Certified Nutrition Specialist, Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and American Nutrition Association-approved CNS supervisor.

  • Master’s degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health

  • Nearly a decade of private-practice experience
  • Former college nutrition instructor

Completing supervised practice hours is about more than checking boxes. It is also an opportunity to build clinical judgment, strengthen your documentation and become more confident making thoughtful, evidence-informed nutrition recommendations.

During our weekly meetings, we can review your cases, discuss your assessment process, work through clinical questions and identify appropriate activities for your CNS experience-hour documentation.

At the completion of your supervision period, I prepare the required supervisor documentation based on the hours and activities completed under my supervision.

Six-Month CNS Supervision

$600 per month

The initial mentorship commitment is six months and includes one private 60-minute supervision meeting each week, ongoing case and professional-development guidance, and supervisor reporting at the completion of the mentorship period.

A shorter option for candidates who are already in practice, have an established supervision history or need focused support completing a smaller number of remaining hours.

Important Practice and Location Information

Supervision can include case-review activities involving clients only when the underlying nutrition services are provided within applicable licensing, telehealth and professional-practice requirements.

Client location, mentee location and the nature of the supervised activity may affect which experiences can be completed under my supervision. We will discuss your planned activities and current client population during the mentorship fit call.

CNS candidates are responsible for confirming current eligibility, coursework, examination, experience-hour and documentation requirements directly with the applicable credentialing organization. Supervision does not guarantee approval of submitted hours or award of the CNS credential.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are mentorship sessions virtual?

Yes. Weekly supervision meetings are provided virtually through secure telehealth technology.

How often will we meet?

The standard mentorship structure includes one private 60-minute meeting each week.

Can you guarantee that all my hours will be accepted?

No. I can provide supervision, guidance and documentation for activities completed under our agreement, but the credentialing organization makes the final determination regarding eligibility and acceptance of submitted hours.

Can I earn all of my required hours through weekly meetings?

Weekly supervision meetings represent only part of the experience. Candidates typically complete additional qualifying clinical, educational, administrative or professional activities between supervision sessions.

Do you provide a supervisor report?

Yes. Supervisor documentation is completed at the end of the agreed supervision period based on the activities and hours appropriately completed and documented under my supervision.

Do you offer a full immersion cohort?

Cohort or immersion opportunities may be offered periodically. Current availability will be listed on this page or discussed during a mentorship fit call.

Clients must be in one of these states at the time of your consultations.
